At dawn, bare footed, viewing as far as eyes can reach,
the water's edge advances and recedes along the beach.
Before me I see a carpet of half-buried shells of sea-creatures,
tide washed and rippled in sodden sand along the beach.
I move, exploring, sodden sand oozing between my toes,
beyond me the wavelets breaking on the sand along the beach.
Behind me, my wandering trail is blurred and indistinct,
as the water's edge advances and recedes along the beach.
At mid-day, on the soft dry sand behind the water's edge,
undressed worshippers lie in the sun that beats down along the beach.
At night, the moon's reflection at the water's edge
resembles sea serpents playing in the wavelets along the beach.

indsurfing is an activity where you have to move in the water on a table similar to surf, fitted with a sail. On Belize this is one of the most popular sports, so while you are on Ambergis Caye at Belize, one of the best activities to do is Windsurfing. This is an excellent spot for all levels of windsurfer. The water is protected by a coral reef about a half mile offshore. The water on Ambergis Caye will provides you the chance to make greats jumps with runs of up to 5 miles on each tack. This area is 6-8 feet deep. Note that outside the reef in the deep blue, there are big waves and swells.

The beach volleyball is a variation of volleyball played on sand, usually on the beach, but the tournaments are very popular in interior locations in the artificial fields. The success of beach volleyball contribute DJ music and swimwear that complete sports entertainment and are present even in official competitions and Olympic. This also makes it very attractive for sport purposes.
Apart from the playing surface, and that they practice outdoors, the other most visible change with volleyball is the number of components. The regulation applies to official competitions established teams of two players without the option of no change, but its popularity makes beach volleyball is played informally elsewhere, and is very common in popular tournaments set up teams of four players.

1. Write messages in the sand You can write them big or small, say anything that you want and then take a picture that will last forever. These pictures can be made into unique postcards to send to the folks back home.
2. Picnic Take your food to the beach and enjoy eating it there. Try to get some fruits, sandwiches, and sodas; it will be refreshing to eat watching the waves.
3. Frisbee this is a classic beach game and it is one that people never get tired of enjoying together. There are more advanced versions like Frisbee golf, extreme Frisbee and Aerobic but the old version will do just fine.
4. Bonfire parties Where fires are allowed on the beach, it's great to hold huge parties where people come to play music, dance, roast marshmallows and just have a great time

It is a good general rule to apply sunscreen when you are at the beach, or under the sun. The sunscreen should be applied about a half hour before going outside to allow time for it to take effect. And it should be reapplied at least every two hours, when you are outdoors for a prolonged period and especially after swimming, bathing, drying off with a towel or handkerchief. Water and perspiration resistant sunscreens are available. However their protection will not last indefinitely. When you visit us, remember you have to use sunscreen; sun can cause terrible damages on your skin if you do not protect yourself. Whenever you visit the Sunbreeze Suites and go to the beach, bring a sunscreen!

San Pedro is a beautiful town in the Ambergris Caye. As you may see in the picture close to the landing strip you will find our partner “Sunbreeze Hotel” and in the uppermost part of the map you will find our lovely Sunbreeze Suites.
If you take a run in the beach from hotel to hotel you will travel a distance of half a mile. If you are one of those persons who like to stay active then you will enjoy taking a walk or even biking across the town of San Pedro or the beach.
If you come to Sunbreeze Suites in the Ambergris Caye you will surely have a lot of fun. As we have said, there are a lot of activities you can do while you stay at the Sunbreeze Suites.
Although, sometimes you might not want to get to fancy, and simply enjoy the beautiful beach with white sand and your family or friends. If you still want to have fun there are some nice things to do in the sand like competitions and games.
You could try to make sand castles and see which is bigger or better looking.
You could also make a competition to bury someone or something and see who takes the least time.
If you are feeling crafty you could also try to make different shapes or faces using the sand like clay.
If you have a good team of friends you could even play pictionary and make your drawings on the sand using only one finger.
